CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
The Children's Ministry is for any child up through 6th Grade. It is led by our lovely Children's Ministry Director, Kathy Stilwell, with help from various church members!
Programs Offered:
Nursery: for children 3 years and younger during ALL Sunday services.
We have wonderful volunteers that will watch your kids during all of our services!
Sunday School: Sundays at 9:30 am
We offer classes for every age range; from infants up through 6th grade. Check out the Sunday School page for more information on the classes that are available!
Children's Time: Sundays at 10:45 am
During the Sunday Morning Service Pastor Green will call children, 12 & younger, to come join him up at the front of the Sanctuary. This is a time where Pastor Green gets to directly talk with the children and do a fun and often educational short lesson with the children. After Children's Time your child is dismissed to either stay in the adult service or go to Junior Joy Church or Joy Church.
Junior Joy Church: Sundays at 11:00 am
During the Sunday Morning Service we offer children in preschool up to kindergarten (4-6 years old) the option of going to Junior Joy Church. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn about God on a level that he or she will understand. Your child will be dismissed after Children's Time to either attend Junior Joy Church or stay in the adult service. If you are the parent or guardian of a child in preschool, they have the option of being back in the nursery during that first part of service & then the teacher for Junior Joy Church will come get your child when it is time for Junior Joy Church.
Joy Church: Sundays at 11:00 am
During the Sunday Morning Service we offer children in 1st grade up to 6th grade (7-12 years old) the option of going to Joy Church. This is a great opportunity for your child to learn about God on a level that he or she will understand. Your child will be dismissed after Children's Time to either attend Joy Church or stay in the adult service.
Vacation Bible School (VBS): Monday-Friday from 6:30-8:30 pm
This is for children in pre-school up through 6th grade (3-12 years old). This is usually held for one week during either the months of June or July. Check out the VBS page for even more information! Sometimes at the end of the week we will have a parents night where the kids get to attend all of the VBS festivities with one or both of their parents and/or guardian!
